Patina, Dirty Down, 25 ml
Highly matte paint with corroded copper effect in verdigris color – a green/blue shade. Water-soluble for easy toning effects to achieve excellent results.
The dark-colored liquid dries to a highly matte patina color in 1 to 5 minutes depending on temperature. Apply verdigris paint with a brush or airbrush/sprayer. Verdigris effect paint looks best on rough, textured surfaces.
Usage instructions:
- Paint bottle and surface should be room temperature or higher before use. Color may not develop if bottle and/or surface are very cold.
- The mixture settles at the bottom. Shake well before use until ball inside rattles. Mix thoroughly to combine solids with liquid. Repeat shaking until no lumps remain.
- Use paint directly from bottle. Do not leave bottle open.
- Do not add water to paint container; it may prevent color formation.
- Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and degreased. Test on hidden areas first for compatibility.
- Apply only on non-porous surfaces like plastic and metal. Not for porous surfaces such as raw wood or paper. Can apply to painted surfaces but test first. If no effect, try varnish first.
- Water soluble, effects wash off if soaked or washed but stains may remain. Avoid exposure to rain or splashes.
- Best appearance on rough surfaces.
- To fill dents/grooves, paint surface and wipe raised areas with a damp cloth at an angle, leaving paint trapped. Wetter cloth removes more paint.
- After drying, harden with spray varnish.
- Avoid scratching varnished finish when dry.
