This plastic assembly kit depicts the Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Allied codename "Frank"). This aircraft entered service in spring 1944, primarily defending the Japanese home islands from B-29 and carrier attacks. Postwar US evaluations deemed it the best Japanese WWII fighter. The Hayate's shape is faithfully reproduced with delicate surface details. Modelers can choose between extended or retracted landing gear and open or closed canopy. Included are parts for a drop tank and two pilot figures, plus four marking options.
