Albrecht von Zögling is the guardian of the Totenkorps program on behalf of the Axis nations and a long-standing member of Grünes Gewölbe. His obsession with the dead led to years spent studying texts from the Green Vault library and visiting battlefields and massacre sites whenever possible, where he collected corpses for experiments, earning the whispered nickname “Der Erntemann” or “The Reaper.”

On March 12, 1944, a bomb fell on Dresden, fulfilling von Zögling’s dreams. About half a million dead wandered the city’s ruins, providing him with what seemed an inexhaustible source of Rift Energy.

The Rift’s mysteries gave von Zögling the means to reanimate the dead on a scale he had never dreamed of. He soon developed a serum to replace the primitive power packs originally used to reanimate the recently deceased – a serum that could be injected directly into corpses and bring them back to life within seconds.

Unlike many of his disciples, von Zögling refuses to passively observe the fruits of his work from a distance and habitually traverses battlefields in search of perfect material for further experiments. Always interested in the effect of wounds on human anatomy, he became proficient in inflicting them himself, training for years to become a skilled marksman as well as adept in the use of melee weapons. Whenever the chance arises, he personally leads his Totenrotte to witness the glory of his works in action, wearing personalized battle harnesses capable of carrying his entire medical arsenal, as well as serum supplies to continuously strengthen his Totenkorps legions.

The box contains one resin Warlord figure with a plastic base.
