Resurrectionists

The Resurrectionists are necromancers, mad scientists, and masters of death who have rejected the natural order of life. To them, corpses are raw materials, graveyards are laboratories, and death is merely another force to be controlled, exploited, or even reversed. Many pursue forbidden knowledge in search of immortality, the perfect creation, or power beyond mortal understanding.

Their Crews are filled with undead servants, ghosts, grotesque experiments, vampires, and necromancers who wield death itself as a tool. Although united by their fascination with mortality, their motivations vary widely—from scientific curiosity and personal obsession to an insatiable hunger for power. In Malifaux, death is simply another resource, and the Resurrectionists know how to make use of it.

On the tabletop, the Resurrectionists excel at resilience, strong synergies, and recovering from losses. While each Master employs different mechanics, the faction is known for turning casualties into advantages, controlling the pace of the game, and gradually overwhelming the opponent. They are an excellent choice for players who enjoy long-term planning and methodically building an advantage.
