Arcanists

The Arcanists are a loose alliance of mages, scientists, inventors, and rebels united by their opposition to the Guild's monopoly over Soulstones. Operating from the shadows and beyond the reach of the law, they fight for the freedom to study and use magic, believing that knowledge should never belong to a privileged few.

Among the Arcanists are powerful spellcasters, brilliant engineers, alchemists, living Constructs, and visionaries willing to push both science and magic beyond their accepted limits. Their world is one of hidden laboratories, dangerous experiments, and incredible inventions powered by Soulstones. While many see themselves as champions of freedom, ambition often proves just as powerful a motivation as idealism.

On the tabletop, the Arcanists are one of Malifaux's most flexible factions. Each Master approaches the game differently, but the faction is known for strong synergies, efficient resource management, and clever interactions between models. They are an excellent choice for players who enjoy tactical depth, creative combinations, and rewarding strategic play.
